Collection: Yixing Teapots

Yixing clay is the perfect material for teaware. Clay teapots from the city of Yixing (宜兴) are known throughout China and beyond for their high quality and durability.

Yixing clay has the ability to "cultivate," meaning it absorbs the aroma of tea, making each subsequent tea session even richer and more flavorful. The more you brew, the more developed the teaware becomes. Thus, an Yixing teapot is like a savings account in a Swiss bank; all the attention you invest in it will return with good interest.
