High-grade Chinese black tea from northern Fujian province. The name translates to "Black Gold" (黑金) and indicates the abundance of tender, small, golden-colored tea buds in the raw material. These buds are responsible for the noble, bright flavor.
Black Gold is made using the "sweetened tea" technology, which involves warming the tea with powdered sugar. This process gives it an appearance similar to Jin Jun Mei and adds extra sweetness to the flavor and aroma.
Aroma: rich, with notes of baked fruits and chocolate.
Flavor: soft, coffee-chocolatey, sweet-caramel, with fruity undertones. The infusion is thick, oily, and dense.
Effect: the tea has a warming and slightly relaxing effect, while also clarifying thoughts and enhancing concentration. It is perfect for leisurely and mindful tea drinking.
Harvest: 2024, Fujian province, China.
Brewing instructions: for a maximally sweet and soft flavor, use slightly cooled water at 85-90 °C instead of boiling water. If using boiling water, a delicate bitterness will appear, which might not be to everyone's taste, but it’s a personal choice. Thoroughly warm the teaware. For infusion, use 5 grams per 100 ml of teaware. For steeping, use 4 grams per 250 ml of teaware. First infusion time: 5 seconds. Steeping time: 4 minutes. Enjoy your tea sessions!

I think this tea is the most “green” tasting tea for the budget. If you want someone to get introduced to proper green teas (e.g. show that they are killing any green it when pouring hard boiled water), this would be the perfect tea to do so
