Large-leaf red tea with warming effects, featuring notes of rye bread and smoked dried fruits.
Crafted from high-quality raw material from Yunnan tea trees, the tea leaves are tightly rolled, dense, and large. Their color is rich black with visible golden fuzz. The strength of flavor, pleasant astringency, and fresh aroma are the main characteristics of this variety.
Profile: This batch has a flavor profile highlighted by pronounced bready and smoky notes.
Aroma: Sweet and fresh, with hints of baked goods, buckwheat honey, and malt. Warmed leaves emit scents of freshly baked bread, enhanced by notes of honey and caramel, becoming more spiced.
Flavor: Strong and robust, with natural sweetness and hints of rye crust, smokiness, dried fruits, and honey. The aftertaste is pleasantly astringent, juicy, warm, cozy, and long-lasting.
Effects: Effectively warms, calms, and relaxes while maintaining energy levels.

Brewing Instructions: Warm the teaware. For infusion, use 5-6 grams per 100 ml of water. Boil the water and steep for 5-15 seconds, adjusting to taste. The tea can withstand at least 5 infusions. For longer steeping, use 4 grams for 250 ml of water and wait 3-4 minutes. Enjoy your tea time!
If you like Dian Hong Mao Feng, try the Royal Golden Needles. Mao Feng consists of buds and leaves, while the Needles are mostly fluffy buds, adding fruity notes (peach) and giving the brew an interesting orange hue due to the abundant fuzz.

I bought Rou Gui Gao Shan at Tea Gallery, and it pleasantly surprised me with how it evolves over multiple infusions. By the third brew, the aroma becomes fuller and deeper, revealing a rich body with gentle sweetness, subtle berry notes, and light woody undertones. The classic Rou Gui profile—often associated with cinnamon-like spice, warm minerality, and a distinctive “rock” character (yan yun)—is present here as well, but in a smooth and well-balanced way. The aftertaste is long, with a refined balance between warmth and freshness. It’s the kind of tea that truly shines over extended sessions—perfect for long, relaxed evenings in good company.
This tea is honestly GOATed. We call it "endless / infinite tea", just because of HOW MUCH you can extract from it... With the right conditions and not too hot of a water, we've been genuinely drinking it for hours, and I feel like we never fully finished it... definitely worth it's money
