Gui Fei Oolong "Emperor's Concubine" is a unique tea named after one of the Four Beauties of ancient China, known for her grace and elegance. This tea embodies the same characteristics with its exquisite flavor profile and refined aroma.
Description:
Gui Fei Oolong is a partially oxidized tea that hails from Taiwan. It is produced using a special process where the leaves are bitten by small green leafhoppers, triggering an oxidation process while the leaves are still on the bush. This natural phenomenon gives the tea its distinctive honeyed and fruity flavor.
Aroma:
- Sweet and floral with notes of honey and ripe fruit.
Flavor:
- Rich and smooth with layers of honey, apricot, and floral undertones. There is also a hint of spiciness and a lingering sweet aftertaste.
Effects:
- Calming and relaxing, yet slightly stimulating, making it a perfect choice for both mental clarity and relaxation.
Harvest:
- Hand-picked from high-altitude tea gardens in Taiwan during the peak season to ensure the highest quality leaves.
Brewing Instructions:
1. Water Temperature: Use water at around 90-95°C (194-203°F).
2. Tea Quantity: Use 5-7 grams of tea per 100 ml of water.
3. Infusion Time: The first infusion should be quick, around 20-30 seconds. Subsequent infusions can be gradually increased by 5-10 seconds each time.
4. Teaware: Best brewed in a gaiwan or a small teapot to fully appreciate its complex flavors through multiple infusions.
Additional Tips:
- Preheat your teaware before brewing to maintain the water temperature.
- Rinse the leaves with a quick infusion (about 5 seconds) to awaken the leaves and enhance the flavor.
Gui Fei Oolong "Emperor's Concubine" is a luxurious tea that offers a rich and rewarding experience, reflecting the elegance and beauty of its namesake.

from 50 reviewsim very satisfied with the cup, 😊 thanks
I bought Rou Gui Gao Shan at Tea Gallery, and it pleasantly surprised me with how it evolves over multiple infusions. By the third brew, the aroma becomes fuller and deeper, revealing a rich body with gentle sweetness, subtle berry notes, and light woody undertones. The classic Rou Gui profile—often associated with cinnamon-like spice, warm minerality, and a distinctive “rock” character (yan yun)—is present here as well, but in a smooth and well-balanced way. The aftertaste is long, with a refined balance between warmth and freshness. It’s the kind of tea that truly shines over extended sessions—perfect for long, relaxed evenings in good company.
This tea is honestly GOATed. We call it "endless / infinite tea", just because of HOW MUCH you can extract from it... With the right conditions and not too hot of a water, we've been genuinely drinking it for hours, and I feel like we never fully finished it... definitely worth it's money
Best tea place in Limassol 🔥
Прекрасный чай. Всем советую заглянуть в этот магазинчик.
Bought it as a gift to my dear friend, and he’s now the happiest man on earth. He rates it as “10 out of 5” and “every day I use it, and every day I’m happy”
Genuinely one of the best red teas I’ve ever tried. The texture, the aroma and the flavour is just outstanding. It is visually pleasing, lasts for many infusions, and a bit expensive
Очень приятный вкус, тонкий аромат, мягкое расслабление без сонливости
