Chahai

Chahai is a small pitcher. Tea is poured from a teapot or gaiwan into the chahai, and from there into the cups. Literally, chahai (茶海, pinyin cháhǎi) translates to "sea of tea." It is also called Gong Dao Bei, meaning "cup of justice." Sometimes, it is referred to as a "pouring vessel."
