This experimental tea was made using leaves from large tea trees over 70 years old, growing in the highlands of Wuliangshan (2,000 meters).
The tea was processed using red (black) tea technology combined with the Taiwanese GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) technique, utilizing specialized equipment. The selected raw material results in a red tea with rich aroma and flavor characteristics and a high GABA content.
The experiment was a success — even better than we had hoped!
It tastes like a high-quality red tea: full-bodied, warm, and fragrant, while also offering a pleasantly intoxicating and relaxing effect. Perfect for starting a calm, productive day or for cozying up on a cool evening.
Aroma
Fragrant, cozy, berry-woody, honeyed, and pastry-like.
Taste
Rich, honey-baked, juicy, with notes of berries, spices, and pastries. A pleasant Assam-like astringency gives way to a full-bodied, warm, and sweet aftertaste.
Effect
Relaxes, warms, clears the mind, and mildly intoxicates.
Production
Spring 2024, Wuliangshan Mountains, Pu'er Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
