Taiwanese Gaba Oolong, grown in the Li Shan tea estate at high altitudes up to 2200 m. This noble Gaba features an authentic flavor profile.
In the late 1980s, Japanese producers developed a technique for processing tea leaves without oxygen, resulting in tea with increased GABA content. Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) enhances concentration and productivity, slightly lowers blood pressure, relaxes, and alleviates tension.
Aroma: Bright, sweet, with distinct jammy, berry, and sweet-tart notes.
Flavor: Juicy, oily, compote-like, refreshing, slightly resinous, with fruity-berry and pastry-honey undertones.
Effects: Relaxing and meditative, yet gently uplifting and concentrating.
Harvest: 2024.
Brewing Instructions: You can brew it using infusion, steeping, or even cooking it according to Lu Yu’s method. Preheat your teaware. For infusion, use 5 grams of tea per 100 ml of water; for steeping or cooking, use 1 gram per 100 ml of water. Try different methods to see what you enjoy most!

The tea was truly delightful. Its aroma at first reminds me of sunflower, then a gentle sweetness arrives, followed by a soft, warming sensation that carries you into open meadows. I think this tea is the most “green” tasting tea for the budget. If you want someone to get introduced to proper green teas (e.g. show that they are killing any green it when pouring hard boiled water), this would be the perfect tea to do so
It is not usual to see tea leaves of green tea to be **that** flat, but other than that — no issues

I recommend this genuine black tea to all tea lovers. It's similar to shu puerh, but has a more woody and earthy character.
